If you've seen Möllan, you've seen the world

Making a local gin with fruity elements can feel a bit tricky if you're in our northern latitudes. So it's fantastic to be able to work in a city like Malmö. On Möllevångstorget, or Möllan as it is called by us Malmöites, goods have been bought and sold for as long as anyone can remember. This is where the Malmöites have been able to go to provide themselves with fish, meat, vegetables and fruits. What still lives on today are the fruit stands that are dismantled and dismantled every day, rain or shine.
When it was time to create a fruity gin, it was just a short trip to Möllan to botanize. The result was just as varied as Malmö is as a city. Salmon Mango, Persimmon, Papaya, Pomegranate and the highlight Persian Sweet Lemon formed the basis of the Möllan Pink Gin. This fruit combination is clearly visible just after the aroma of juniper berries has subsided. Then the fruity and floral character emerges, which has been further enhanced by Halland Pors. To create an increased complexity, we chose to add a little long pepper and grains of paradise that make the gin not disappear in a classic G&T. The color comes from putting Raspberry in alcohol and water and pulling out the color. This creates an intense pink color that shifts more towards peach after some time.
